Legal
Terms of use
The terms governing your use of this website, how we quote and engage, our professional disclaimers and how to complain.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Tax and Accounting Hub, a UK-based tax and accountancy practice with its head office in London, United Kingdom, and representative support for clients in the UAE, Singapore and India. You can contact us at info@taxandaccountinghub.com or on +44 (0)20 8221 1154.
By accessing or using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
2. Information on this website is general guidance only
The articles, guides, fee indications, FAQs and other material on this website are provided for general information. They are not tax, legal, accounting or investment advice, and they do not create a client relationship between you and us.
Tax law in the United Kingdom and the United States changes frequently, and its application depends entirely on individual circumstances. You should not act, or refrain from acting, on the basis of anything published here without taking advice on your own position.
3. Fees and quotations
Any fees shown on this website are indicative of a UK average only. A fixed quote is confirmed in writing after we have reviewed your documents, and before any work begins and before an engagement letter is signed. Consultations are charged from £150 for 30 minutes. We do not offer free consultations.
Services are provided only under a signed engagement letter, which together with our standard terms of business governs the work. Where those documents conflict with this page, the engagement letter prevails.
4. No affiliation with tax authorities
Tax and Accounting Hub is an independent practice. We are not part of, endorsed by, or affiliated with the Internal Revenue Service, the US Department of the Treasury, HM Revenue & Customs, Companies House or any other government body. References to Enrolled Agent status, Authorised Corporate Service Provider registration or AML supervision describe our own authorisations and can be verified with the relevant authority.
Certifying Acceptance Agent (CAA) document certification is temporarily unavailable until early 2027.
5. Acceptable use
You may use this website only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse it by knowingly introducing malicious code, attempting unauthorised access to the site or any server, scraping content at a rate that impairs the service, or using automated systems to extract material for commercial republication.
Interfering with the operation of this website may be a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report any such activity to the relevant law enforcement authorities.
6. Intellectual property
All content on this website — text, articles, graphics, badges, logos, document templates and layout — is owned by or licensed to Tax and Accounting Hub and is protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may print or download extracts for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not republish, sell or systematically reproduce any part of it without our written permission.
7. Links to other websites
This site links to third-party resources such as GOV.UK, IRS.gov, Companies House, the AAT directory and our online application forms hosted by Paperform. We are not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of any external site, and a link does not imply endorsement.
8. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, we exclude all implied conditions, warranties and representations relating to this website, and we will not be liable for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of anticipated savings arising from use of, or inability to use, this website or from reliance on material published on it.
Liability for professional services is dealt with in our engagement letter and standard terms of business, not on this page.
9. Electronic communications and e-commerce information
In accordance with the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002 and the Provision of Services Regulations 2009, our identity, geographic address, contact details, professional authorisations and the manner in which fees are quoted are set out on this page and on our contact page.
Where you submit an enquiry or an online application form, a contract for services is only formed when we issue an engagement letter and you accept it. An automated acknowledgement is not an acceptance.
You consent to us communicating with you by email. Email is not a wholly secure medium; where documents contain identity or financial data we will use secure upload links instead.
10. Data protection and cookies
We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our privacy policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it and your rights. Our cookie policy explains what this website stores on your device and how to control it.
11. Anti-money laundering and client identification
As a supervised practice we are required to verify the identity of clients and beneficial owners before we act, to keep those records, and to report knowledge or suspicion of money laundering to the National Crime Agency. We may be prohibited by law from telling you that such a report has been made.
12. Accessibility
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, including keyboard navigation, readable contrast, descriptive link text and alternative text on images. If you encounter a barrier, email info@taxandaccountinghub.com and we will provide the information in another format.
13. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, write to info@taxandaccountinghub.com marked for the attention of the Principal. We acknowledge complaints within five working days and aim to provide a full response within twenty-eight days. If a data protection matter is not resolved to your satisfaction you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
14. Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
15. Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the version in force.
